Professor and author R. Tripp Evans alongside Curator of Decorative Arts, Elizabeth Williams, lead an in-depth gallery talk highlighting the unique 18th & 19th century interiors of the Pendleton House.

 

Tripp Evans will discuss his recent book, The Importance of Being Furnished: Four Bachelors at Home, which explores the lives of four bachelor designers, with Charles Pendleton being one of them. 

In his time, Charles Pendleton built one of the greatest furniture collections, which is housed at the RISD Museum.
