Exhibition Overview: Raid the Icebox Now (session 3)

Join Sarah Ganz Blythe, Deputy Director, for a gallery walk through of recently opened artist projects, part of Raid the Icebox Now. NY-based magazine Triple Canopy’s installation, Can I Leave You?, considers the role of early American decorative arts in the formation of a common identity. How do artworks and decor—as well as fictions and fashions—give rise to nations and nationalities? Artist Pablo Helguera’s installation, Inventarios / Inventories, explores the personal and domestic contexts of artworks drawing upon the Museum’s Nancy Sayles Day Collection of Latin American art.
