Chicago-based silversmith Kalo Shop was an innovative design studio that was female-founded in 1900. John Walcher, Vice President and Senior Specialist of Decorative Arts at Toomey & Co. Auctioneers will introduce this groundbreaking studio referencing pieces within the museum collection.
This annual lecture is supported by the Paul Somerson Fund for Decorative Arts and Design in honor of the late collector.
